Hey, I'm a huge Jill Scott's fan that I saw in Paris 2 years ago, we had a diner with her and some friends after her show, she's a nice and beautiful person.
"A Long Walk" is really one of my Jill's favorite, on studio we can listen the great Vidal Davis on drums who is also the Jill's producer.
On live it's the young and talented Erik Tribbet who come from the church like all the new young soul/rn'b drummer...
"A Long Walk" is a great song !!!

Hey Guys, nice soul music too with the great Franck McComb's "Love Stories". (Liz McComb nephew...)
Produced by Branford Marsalis, Rocky Bryant do a very good job on drums, very tasty... Richard Bona on bass (1 or 2 tracks)...
It just beautiful.

Experience 826+ is a stonking album. 'Long walk' and 'surely slowly' are my favourite tunes. You can see vid clips of erik tribett at jills site.
Speaking of McComb, yeah, rocky bryant is a monster player. When I find the CD under my rubble of CD's here, I'll upload a track from it. Also, check out 'Truth' his later album. Steve harvey on drums is excellent. I saw McComb recently in concert, absolutely fantastic, and the drummer, Frank Tonto, got to take some incredible marathon solos.
Back to Jill Scott, Kurt, she's got a new CD coming out in august.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Now you're talking! Frank is incredible and one of the best drummers to come out of England in the last few years.

For the uninitiated, his work includes touring with George Michael and MAN can he groove!!!

AMAZING song! My absolute favorite of hers. Hell, all of her songs are great, but this one ranks top for me.
